Since 2010, Studio Ben Jack Nash has been at the intersection of art practise, knowledge theory and compelling purpose-driven projects. Our award winning work has been the subject of extensive publications, media coverage, national and international exhibitions and public debates. We converge our comprehensive experience and expertise in the fields of social justice and the visual arts to inform how we work and who we work with.

P U R P O S E D R I V E N P R O J E C T S

We continue to work with the impact sector and change-makers on singular and diverse issues that cut across human rights, social justice and the climate crisis. We collaborate with academics, NGOs, universities and local authorities. We draw on the visual arts to create dynamic projects that help in raising both profiles and funds.

A R T P R A C T I S E

Spanning sculpture, installation, film and performance; the art studio is quite simply the foundation for everything else. It shapes the theory that we apply and the projects that we produce in tandem with others. These artworks often evoke subjects around loss, disappearance and transition.

K N O W L E D G E T H E O R Y

Our work has led to an epistemology developed through a process of doing and making in the studio rather than in the library. It provides a deepened understanding of matter's relationship with space which helps with our understanding of social attitudes and the nature of the challenges we face.
