"The phsyical and the social are both understood as matter cut from the same cloth"
Since 2010, Studio Ben Jack Nash has been at the intersection of art practise, knowledge theory and purpose driven projects. Our award winning work has been the subject of extensive publications, media coverage, national and international exhibitions and debates. We use our comprehensive experience and expertise founded in social justice and the visual arts to inform what we do and who we work with.
PURPOSE DRIVEN PROJECTS
We continue to work with the impact sector on singular and diverse issues that cut across human rights, social justice and the climate crisis. We collaborate with academics, NGOs, universities and municipalities. We draw on the visual arts to create dynamic projects that help in raising profiles and in raising funds.

ART PRACTISE
The art studio is our building block for everything else. It shapes the theory that we apply and the projects that we produce in tandem with others. It spans sculpture, installation, film and performance.
KNOWLEDGE THEORY
Our work has led to an epistemology developed through a process of doing and making in the studio rather than in the library. It provides a deepened understanding of matter's relationship with space which helps with our understanding of social attitudes and the nature of the challenges we face.
